In January 2026, Luke Thompson co-founded The Gathering with Olivia Gardner—a weekly space for the next generation to encounter God and be grounded in His Word. When Olivia later stepped away, Kolby Carpenter and Ric Moxley stepped up to lead.
The Gathering is primarily built for teens ages 13–17—but the door is wide open to everyone. Sound doctrine belongs to the whole church, not just one age group, and everyone deserves access to the real, living Gospel.
The goal of every gathering is exaltation and encounter—not performance, not programming, but the manifest presence of God that transforms hearts and brings His Kingdom to bear on real lives.
Exaltation
Worship that lifts eyes off the room and onto God.
Encounter
Real space for the Holy Spirit to move—not a performance to watch.
Grounded
Sound doctrine, taught plainly, for a generation that deserves the whole Gospel.
